    2. Ancient Chinese text, date and author uncertain. Very poetic, even in a translation that doesn't try to preserve the verse forms. It deliberately leaves out a lot of the context necessary to understand what it's talking about, and it specifically says that the true instructions are supposed to be taught orally rather than written down. Still, it's pretty clear that the topic is a method of making yourself immortal, mostly by using alchemy to create an elixir, but there also seem to be components [...]
