    1. Just so you know, this is the second book in this series. So I guess I am giving you a spoiler alert, in case you haven’t read New Blood, Book One.The story starts with Emma still adjusting to being a vampire. It doesn’t happen overnight, but since she’s undead, she has plenty of time, which she finds difficult to keep track of.She comes downstairs to find her roommate Tammy dressed up as a witch and her tenant David wearing a button that says I’m a werewolf – ask me how! She plumb for [...]

    2. Ebook: Wild Blood, Vampire in the CityAuthor : Donna AnsariFiction, Paranormal,This review may contain spoilersI was given this by the author for reviewSummary: Recently-turned vampire Emma Hammond is not only getting used to her undead lifestyle, but also to living with her new and unlikely roommates--her human best friend Tammy, and David, a werewolf. While the girls speculate as to possible drawbacks to having such a fuzzy tenant (shedding and marking of territory, to name a few), nothing wil [...]

    3. Rating 4.5The plot definitely picks up in this second installment Wild Blood. We learn more about the beloved David and have some fun trying to hide the big hairy dog from everyone - and the secrets become harder to keep as he begins to draw more attention to both her and him. Things get even more interesting when you add Emma's human friend and roommate, Tammy, into the picture. It soon turns into a huge messy web as the secrets build and the true complexity of it all is revealed. As in New Bloo [...]

    4. Wild Blood- Vampire in the City by Donna Ansari is the sequel to New Blood that continues the story of Emma the new vampire. In this book, her werewolf roommate David is attempting to help a group of werewolves who want to establish werewolf control of New York by forcing the vampires to leave. David has no problem with Emma herself, it’s just that vampires and werewolves are supposed to hate each other. As the story goes on, Emma learns of the personal stake her sire’s sire holds in the figh [...]

    5. Donna Ansari does it again! She takes a story and makes it into a spectacular masterpiece! Emma just wants to be a "normal" vampire with a normal roommate or two and have a normal relationship with someone. Now she finds herself with a Witchy Roommate, a Werewolf Roommate, and a couple of vastly different boyfriends all vying for her time, attention, and loyalty. Poor Emma doesn't know who to believe, trust, or who to tell to go take a hike. She finds herself in the middle of a major dispute bet [...]

    6. Emma is still adjusting to becoming a vampire when a whole new mess begins. Her new roommate turns out to be a werewolf, and through him she finds out that not only do werewolves exist, but they're deadly serious about killing any and all vampires. Emma agrees with them that all the vampires of her experience slaughter humans by the score, but she draws the line at all-out war between the species. But neither the vampires nor the werewolves will agree to a truce--and in trying to create one, Emm [...]

    7. We pick up where we left off, Emma has survived the internal dispute between the rival Vampire clans and has just me the mysterious James. She is also living with Tammy and David the Werewolf. Her sire and on again off again boyfriend Alex has lied to her about just about everything to do with how she became to be a Vampire.James tells Emma that he is on the hunt for a gay Werewolf who killed his sire Abbi, who happens to be her clan's Prince's ex-wife! But David's not gay, is he? Surely this ca [...]

    8. See review for the first book, most of those comments still apply. Here things are too easy. A character finds out in one night she is a witch, accepts it and is casting circles and spells the next day? The end comes with a bit of a surprise but its clearly foreshadowed so a careful reader is not shocked. Still an ok quick read--a couple of hours of moderate entertainment.

    9. Emma, newly turned vampire, gets into so much trouble. I swear it just follows her or finds her anyway. First, the Prince of Vampires wants her dead, then her werewolf roommate joins those ranks, and so why shouldn’t her vampire boyfriend/ex-boyfriend. Alex is trying to redeem himself, which I really like and hope we get more of in the next book. Read my full review here: wp/p3a6Qw-2E
