    1. For all romance lovers out there, this is a must read. Prepare to become thoroughly absorbed in the lives of the characters as a budding romance evolves. The key to good writing is how it makes you feel. Can you picture yourself in the story? Do you feel what they are feeling? That is what reading is all about. The detailed descriptions draw you in and take a hold of your heart. And the sexual tension keeps you on your toes, you're always wondering what will happen next. I would recommend this f [...]

    2. I found Briggs style of writing to be refreshing. It had the feel of classic literature to me, reminding me a bit of a modern day Jane Austen. Because the style of the writing was so detailed it allowed me as the reader to really escape into the romance of the story. There is plenty of sexual tension between the lovers, a feat not easy to accomplish for a writer. If you like a romance that is exciting and suspenseful, this is your book. I highly recommend her to anyone who enjoys romance and I w [...]

    3. While reading this novel I was flipping back and forth between 3 emotional states based on the current action. There were some heartbreaking moments, some admirably heartwarming moments, and some “oh wow” moments. I must admit that during the bulk of the story the heart wrenching moments far outweighed the rest and I found myself wondering how in the world this story could end well. Briggs surprised me by turning everything around for a happy ending. With her writing style Briggs makes this n [...]

    4. This book had a lot of potential, I would have liked to have seen more about the attraction between the characters before their relationship started though. The writing and descriptive language used was very good, I could visualise exactly where they were and what they were wearing. There were a couple of missing words here and there that were a bit distracting but were easily overcome. Overall I was fairly happy with this book - I just really wanted that initial love connection to get me barrac [...]

    5. The book was a slow read in the beginning but it picked up and then all the drama came in. I thought Elle lied for years for no reason then was lying about her health status for reason. A lot of mess went on but i thought the relationship coming together again went fast. I liked that they ended well though.
