    1. When I saw this book as a giveaway on , I knew I had to try for it. My Dad served in Vietnam, but like so many, was never able to really talk to us about his experiences. This book was organized and gave great insight into the realities of what those there experienced. The book is well organized. My favorite thing about this book is that not set up like a traditional history book or text book. This book is full of quotes and excerpts from documents, journals, and letters.
