    1. I was totally on board for the first 3 books iin this series, but not the 4th. The hole multiple lovers thing is not something that does it for me. Not sure wehter I will read more in this series

    2. Rating : 3 starsor -58, depends on the moment. If you see a kindle falling from the sky, that's me getting super annoyed.

    3. Reviewed by Whitney@Shooting Stars ReviewsVervain and Trevor are having some issues. Things from Vervain's past are coming back to light and Trevor isn't dealing with it so well. Now, she must continue on trying to save Hawaii from the Black Death and deal with Trevor's issue. However, she ends up meeting an angel along the way who just be exactly what she needs. I thought this one was really good. I enjoyed the whole plot line and the new addition to the group as well. The only thing that got o [...]

    4. Better than fourBetter than fourThese books are good, and I really enjoy the interesting interplay of fantasy, witches, gods and other fantastical beings, but the story line does tend to be more and more sexually based and that does get boring, especially since it's centered only on the main character, Vervain no-one (who starts out human, anyway, even if they then become a god) is THAT enticing or fascinating, especially when there are so many other goddesses around who supposedly have goddess- [...]

    5. At first, it seemed like this one wouldn't focus on a new man, like all the first four books did. But, then the author went: PSYCHE! - and threw a new man at Vervain. Bah.In this one the plot really took a backseat to the relationship drama, which wasn't as bad as I could've feared, it just made the case not-so-interesting.For some mild spoilers:(view spoiler)[Sigh. So.Vervain gets kidnapped and tortured. AGAIN. The more shit this author does to her, the more pissed I get that all that shit doesn [...]

    6. Green Tea and Black DeathVervain is back! Not w she is chasing the Tiger Goddess of The Plague. She's having issues with her alpha wolf mate after he sees her kissing her previous captor . She also meets an Angel To whom she has an intense reaction to. She also must deal with her ex Thor. Poor gal has a lot on her plate for sure! I love the mix of mission, God Squad, action and romance! Can't wait to read the next book!

    7. This whole reverse harem thing seem kind of rushed. Vervain improved a lot since the first book, I like her much more but still sometimes (like in this book) she gets on my nerves. How could she add another boyfriend without consulting Trevor when this was the reason he went to Hel in the first place. On the other hand I believe the Froekn bond should have helped him understand her better but instead he was sulking most of the time. I get it, I really do, but for god's sake man up!

    8. Sorry couldn't get past TrevorFrankly I just thought Trevor was a complete a-hole in this edition to the series. His behavior was childish and selfish. Vervaine has made mistakes but she apologized and her mistakes, definitely were not worse than the words that Trevor spoke and his ridiculous actions. This was not my favorite installment.

    9. Trouble, trouble everywhereLove the whole been shell and now see heaven. I will say I hold my breath every time Rain goes to speak to Vervain, the doom and gloom is very appropriate.

    10. I love the humour in these books, have to say I'm not sure how Vervain keeps up with all the sex though!! Thought that a hippy Jesus was hilarious and I love how the preconceived ideas that humans have on gods is used in these books.

    11. Love it!!Book number five and I'm still loving this series!! The author knows how to put you in their book world!!

    12. Huh, ok, so I am happy that this series has included gods from non European nations. such as Egypt and now India and China. It is very cool to learn about other cultures through fantasy fiction. But again this story doesn't seem to fuel the overall god war rather its a skirmish with someone who, quite frankly, thinks she is doing the job she was given.

    13. Once again I find these books to be highly entertaining and would recommend them to anyone who is in need of a truly refreshing need of an original story idea. The plot is inventive and the characters are smart and witty and the conversation are never boring or slow. the only reason I find myself holding back from that final fifth star this time around was the lack of a truly good villain. I like how some of the storyline are converging and coming full circle but the lack of a good and truly det [...]

    14. Like the rest of this series, Vivain pulls through with her normal snarky sense of humor. She has a few old enemies to death, complications with her love life, and gets to visit both heaven and hell. Vivain is funny and resilient and more than a little trouble, but following her adventures is well worth the read.

    15. Great story! As I've already stated, I love this series. Vervain is such a kickass heroine. I enjoy reading of her varied romances also. The author writes of having multiple loves so well without making it shameful. I love it! I can't wait to read the next book.
