    1. Who said Love makes the world go around? Not in Elizabeth Madrid’s world, no, this isn’t true. Absolutely not. Because in this world, Elizabeth does not love. She uses. She lies. She steals. And she sure makes everyone believe in her and has everyone wrapped around her finger. Even notorious celebrity Chrysalis Magnolia feeds on her hand and takes the bait. She’s that good! But are these people even aware of her? Apparently, Saucy Socials blogs and rants about her but she’s got no idea ab [...]

    2. This could have been more enjoyable if I got more. I needed more info, more romance, and more story. I hope the next in the series will clear it up for me.

    3. 5 stars. Originally posted on My Book Musings. So I received notice that Mina V. Esguerra's latest short story, Young and Scambitious, is currently free on , and I immediately checked it out. The title, plus the cover, made me think it's in the style of Gossip Girl - Filipino version. I'm wrong. And I'm glad for it. (Warning: Young and Scambitious contains some strong language)Oh Mina, please tell me this is a prelude to a 300-plus-novel that's going to keep me on the edge as much as this teasing [...]

    4. Loved this little goodie of a story!I think I'm in the minority here, but Love Your Frenemies is my faaaaaavorite of all Mina V. Esguerra's books. This one harkens back to that: a moneyed setting, razor-sharp characters, hilarious bitchy one liners, and a heroine who's flawed yet smart and just a tiny bit scary. (Hooray for leads like that! More Janes and Kimmys, please, less sweet-as-pie simple girls!) I loved how Mina revealed the setting and the 'mysteries' - just right to whet your appetite [...]

    5. Also posted in It's A Wonderful Bookworld.QUICK REVIEW: I just saw this being promoted on Twitter and didn’t have any idea what the story is all about but because this is by Mina V. Esguerra, I just have to read it. And I was not disappointed. I love the mystery surrounding the persona of the main characters — Jane and Gabriel — and I must say that I love Ms. Mina more for putting together a story like this. BUT! I am frustrated that the ending was so abrupt. I really really want more!P.S. [...]

    6. I couldn't quite wrap my head around it but maybe it's because it's the first time I've read something like this. I didn't really get the ending. Maybe I should give it another read.

    7. Originally posted here.I grabbed Young and Scambitious while it was available for free on . I think the cover looks great, it has an intriguing and glamorous feel that goes well with the premise. Yesterday, I couldn’t decide what to read next so I thought I’d start on this short story because it would be easy to get into. I started reading it on the train ride on the way to work in the morning and was able to finish it on the way back in the afternoon.I like that this story focuses on the Ma [...]

    8. **Review originally posted on my blog**When Mina V. Esguerra tweeted that her latest short story will be free of charge for a limited period of time on (in Kindle format), I immediately grabbed the opportunity to download a copy. I am a bit intrigued with the title – it’s like the main character is doing something sinister. This is definitely not the usual goody-two-shoes protagonist we often read about in most books. The title itself already gives the readers a bit of an idea of what the s [...]

    9. *Originally posted on my blog for blogtour review*Welcome to the world of scam artist. It sounds bad, but its a good read *smile*Yes, that's right, the main character's in this story happened to be bad people, but hey they're really entertaining and I don't know how Mina pull it off, maybe she stalk them? hahaha joking ;)I seriously adore the characters in this story, making me wonder which book I like best"Playing Autumn" that has so many sweet characters- which I'm really starting to wonder wh [...]
