    1. Great bookMattie and Jess's story was so full of twists and turns but it was exciting to see their lives coming together. Very good read.

    2. This was a sweet western romance involving outlaws and Indians, vengeance and love. It begins with Matilda, a plain spinster traveling west to meet her husband, who she married by proxy and has never met. Along the way her stagecoach is attacked by Indians and her plans are seriously derailed. There was a lot to like about this book, and it kept me turning pages, but though I had hopes that it would become a terrific four-star read or even an amazing five-star, I ultimately felt that it was only [...]

    3. Matilda Thornton is stuck on a stage coach with Jess a frightening ‘half-breed’ bounty hunter and his handsome prisoner Elias when disaster strikes. She is forced to make decisions and take actions that proper ladies really should never face. And thus an adventure of fantastic proportions begin.Matilda is one of the most fun characters I have read in quite some time. Forced into situations not even I can imagine she comes out brave and strong. Even wrestling with her emotions for this roguis [...]

    4. Good book, felt it was so long and a lot of stuff could of done without. Also felt like it was a mini history lesson too. Nevertheless I did love the book because it went full circle. I wasn't left with wanting more at the end. Lots of adventure and even sadness that make you fall even more in love with both characters. Definitely a good read and highly recommend
