    1. This story had a lot of potential. Handsome professor Adam enlists an ex to help him give his best friend, nerdy librarian Libby, a makeover. Libby thinks the project is about Adam getting back together with Shasta, the ex. The story is told from Libby's POV (first person), and her humor is quite amusing. What worked for me: Libby's humor throughout the story is entertaining. Her compassion and concern for Adam are endearing. What didn't work for me: As Libby herself expressed it, why did she have [...]

    2. I downloaded this book when it was being offered for free. My husband is a librarian and it looked funny. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this book had a lot more going for it than I anticipated. It was a very cute story, the characters were well-developed for a novella. I cared what happened to them and rooted for them. The book is well-written and I would recommend it whether it is free or not. I look forward to reading more works from Alice Bex. Thanks.

    3. I would give this 3.5 stars. Parts of it are very funny and original, but there are a good number of typos through it. Given how immature Adam is, I would have liked a little more clarification of his feelings at the end. I laughed several times, though, and I always round up if a story makes me laugh.

    4. This book is funny, it has a UK humour tone to it that I love. Libby is kind and quirky, I liked her immediately. This is the kind of sweet romance story that you could read in one sitting to unwind after a long, stressful day.
