    1. Very well written, however in my mind the story always trumps. And in this case it was just a bit too shallow of a story. The author created the opportunity to show the depth of human feelings that we all experience. I did enjoyed a few of the chapters where the author brought out her humor, and want more of that in her writing, as she does create those situations in a way that is easy to believe.Tamara Morgan, please keep writing.

    2. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Isn't this cover nice and sweet? Just inviting you just to read this book. Don't! Not only is the cover deceiving but so is the summary. John Montgomery is nothing but a loner, nerd type who dates women because he is rich. His social skills are lacking but he apparently attends a bunch of parties.n because he's rich. Ok so the cover depicts a rich man. What it doesn't show is the heroine, Gerorgia Lennox, is a handym [...]

    3. Slick‘s review posted on Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews4.5 STARSReview copy provided for an honest reviewTamara Morgan comes back with a bang in her Montgomery Manor series with Because I Can. We finally get to see a lot more of oldest brother John (Monty) Montgomery III and find out that there is so much more to him than meets the eye. I don’t know why I’m surprised because author Tamara Morgan always writes complex characters and throws them into the most intriguing situations. What I lov [...]

    4. This story came at such a right time that it took me by surprise. And I do like surprises so it was pleasant. I was already looking forward to workaholic John ‘Monty’ Montgomery the Third and Montgomery Manor’s skilled handywoman Georgia Lennox, but this was so much better than I expected. First off, Monty was the epitome of a good hero, hell, a perfect hero. The kind of hero I’d want all my heroines to end up with, the kind of hero I’d love to read in many upcoming books, over and ove [...]

    5. I know I keep saying this with each book in this series, but this particular book is my favorite so far. I swear Tamara has this incredible talent where her books only keep getting better and better as the series goes on. When we see Monty in both books one and two, we get the impression he's a no nonsense, no fun, cold persona and pretty much a dull dud. But truthfully he comes out this way because he's a socially inept workaholic who sometimes misinterprets people's intentions. He's so used to [...]

    6. “Monty” runs the family hotel business and the family’s charitable giving. He likes the second more than the first, but he knows he’s expected to do both, and he works hard to live up to his father’s expectations. That means he’s a little boring and he’s not very good at all at socializing. He’s a very serious man, and he doesn’t think that’s a bad thing.Georgia is the handywoman on the Montgomery estate. She stronger and more capable than Monty and most other men in the worl [...]

    7. I was almost positive that Monty would be my least favorite hero from this series but he completely won me over with his sweet, awkward but focused ways.I loved how this was not your typical millionaire hottie making the rapid orgasms roll out in rapid succession. Things don't go perfect for Monty and Georgia and I loved it! I LOVED it! Neither is Georgia an ugly duckling waiting to be transformed. She isn't beautiful, or even very pretty but she's smart, determined and kind and Monty completely [...]

    8. Before I really jump into this review, I need to apologize to Carina Press - I received a copy of this amazing book (via Netgalley) MONTHS ago and for a variety of reasons am just now reviewing it. This is easily one of the best books I have read in 2015, and I'm really wondering why I took so flipping long to read this one! Now, let's get into the review!! I didn't realize that Because I Can was part of a series, but it is indeed the third book in a series that surrounds Montgomery Manor, and t [...]

    9. One of the Montgomery Manor stories, it focuses on John, the workaholic son, and the handywoman, Georgia Lennox, only girl of the Lennox clan of four children. She's always competing, especially against her over-protective brothers and the fear that people will think her less-than-successful if she dares of ask for help with her volunteer activities building houses for others when she isn't working at the Manor. John always has his nose to the proverbial grindstone, both managing the hotels his [...]

    10. I love this series, it gets better and better with each book and Monty has stolen my heart with his bluntness that he sometimes has, "well, if it's not too late to take you up on your offer, I'd like to be the first man to make you experience and orgasm." A drunk Georgia is a horny and brutally honest Georgia, "they also did horrific things to the hair on other parts of my body, but I think maybe we should wait until your sister leaves to look at those ones." Honestly I think these two are perfe [...]

    11. An enjoyable read, representing the contemporary romance genre at its best. The unconventional heroine is relatable and interesting; many readers should empathize with her dedication to learning a craft (construction) and taking pride in her hard work and devotion to a good cause. Class issues in the book are dealt with intelligently. The hero's behavior seems realistic as well. The humor isn't cruel, and the characters who are in conflict with the heroine are presented as three-dimensional peop [...]

    12. Very sweet story about Monty and Georgia. Monty is the oldest Montgomery and very uptight and reserved. Georgia is an outgoing woman working in a man's world of construction and maintainence. Definitely a romance where opposites attract and bring out the best in each other!

    13. I honestly liked it at first but I don't know, I got bored in the middle and made me used TTS just to finish the story. Maybe because of Georgia and her super-overprotective brothers.
