    1. A quick read which was great because I didn't like this one at all. I'll give it two stars just because there's some interesting early Helena history in here but outside of that pffffft.I expected something that was a bit more in depth from the people whom have claimed to had paranormal experiences. Instead the stories were given, generally, a good deal of historical background ( the good part of this book ) and then a glance over the experience itself. No questioning, no testing, no asking for [...]


    2. This was a wonderful blend of historical background and uber creepy ghost tales. I've always enjoyed Ellen Baumler's tales of haunted Montana and this addition doesn't disappoint. It probably didn't hurt that I was reading this as my family and I were traveling to and experiencing the haunted historical ghost tour in Helena itself; I was able to physically visit at least one locale in this volume. Ellen creates a balance between her historical facts and her ghost details in such a way that the r [...]


    3. This was a great gem to find. It was scary for me because I am familiar with all the places mentioned in the book. I will look at those buildings in a whole new light. I loved learning new history of places from my hometown.
