    3. Well-written book that encourages people to eat pasta but add vegetables and protein to round out the nutrition. Both Joe and Tanya state that it's not a diet book per se, but it a book of their experience in finding a way to incorporate their family food favorite into a healthy lifestyle. Great photos and recipes. Not a book I would use everyday, but great ideas.


    4. Great cookbook with good recipes. I love Italian food and got this book after reviewing the one by Lidia Bastianich, mother of these two authors and chefs. The turkey meatballs are delicious and the meatloaf I made from the recipe was delicious. Bake and pour red pasta sauce over and yum!



    5. I only made one recipe, but I liked it. We eat pasta quite a bit on school nights, I'm interested in different sauces.


    6. Great, tasty recipes with lots of healthy veggies. I got quite a few good ones from this book. Nice pictures too but wish they had pictures of every recipe.



    7. Loved the premise: Pasta is the base for vegetables and other healthy ingredients. This cookbook also contains a recipe for homemade GF pasta. I copied it down and might give it a try sometime.
