    1. I requested this book on Netgalley and was approved. I'm so happy that I was given the opportunity to read The Witch Chronicles: Book 2, The Red Dragon. This was my first book to read from A.B. Wolverton but this will not be the last. I enjoyed reading book2 so I must read book 1. This a great story.Freda is like most teens so if you don't like teenage books she will be a little annoying. Freda is like most teenagers she struggles with her identity as a witch and how she fits in. but the story-l [...]

    2. If you enjoy all kinds of different creatures and mythology you will love this book. I was not to far along when I realized that I have to read "The Witch Chronicles: The Reluctant Witch: Book 1". A.B. Wolverton did a great job and I think everyone would enjoy the "The Witch Chronicles: Books". I won this great book on GoodReads and like I do with most my wins I will be paying it forward by giving my win either to a friend or library to enjoy.

    3. I loved Freda Jess and Nicholas. I am praying for book 3. Everything about this book sucked me in and held me there.

    4. Although the 'teen vibe' and love story can get annoying at times, over all this is an enjoyable read. The writing style has a good flow and it is easy to read. I think it would've been better to read the first book in the series before reading this one, but it wasn't necessary to follow the story. **I received a copy of this book from Giveway, however all opinions are my own**

    5. For me, this book was not nearly as good as the first one. I really do not like the characters, the insti-love drove me crazy, and everything seemed too made up and unrealistic.I'll start out with the characters. They got to be too demanding and sort of bratty. I didn't really like how they all seemed to find a "soulmate", and all of them just accepted that. I got really confused when Freda and Henri were apart and Henri started to think that they had been with each other in a past life. That wa [...]

    6. This is a great book. A. B. Wolverton has a great imagination. There are all kinds of creatures and mythology in the book. I would like to ask her if there is going to be a follow up to this book. This is about Freda, who recently discovered that she is a witch. She also can talk to animals. Her brother (Ben) is taken by Zog and her Uncle Charlie, Jess and Nicholas along with Lucky and Sally (their pets)head out to the ring. They meet others along the way such as the Dingles, Little Joe, as well [...]

    7. Won this book thru giveaway for an honest reviewI know these books got some really good reviews. So don't hate me. This is just one persons opinion.Since this was the second book in the series I read book 1 first (The Reluctant Witch). Which I also gave a 1 star rating. It just wasn't for me. Since I didnt enjoy book 1, I was very "reluctant" to read book 2. Ugh! Was I right! I had the same issues with the first book. I found myself struggling to continue reading and would stop just to re-read [...]

    8. My fellow reviewer found this book to be very much to her liking. So much so that even though this was to be reviewed by her while I read other books waiting for review, I had to pause and read it myself. It was not much of a job of convincing she had to do as I remember how much I enjoyed the first book and wanted to read the second. I will agree with her that this is a very well written book and very difficult to put down. The detail is vivid and the world-building is spot-on. The read is intr [...]
