    About "Natasha Holme"

      • Natasha Holme

Probably the most prolific diary writer in the history of the world, I have been obsessively recording my crushes on females since the age of fourteen I currently clock up half a million words per year, but never let on to the woman I m dating that I jot down everything she says and does.I LOVED my all girls public school Apart from mercilessly hounding Miss Williams, with whom I fell in love at first sight at the age of twelve, I was a model pupil In my early twenties I swapped my Latin homework for drug taking and squatting Having sported an I LOVE MISS WILLIAMS tattoo on my left wrist for eleven years, I finally tired of the inane questions it encouraged and got a cover up in 1999 I m a list writing geek and a drummer I play table tennis and make my own beer I am not a stalker any.

    1. I enjoyed this, just as I have enjoyed the previous two releases. This time around it was a more entertaining and amusing read, no doubt due to the fact that she was no longer at school or university.Natasha has led a far more interesting life than I have and I am looking forward to her publishing the next chapter in her life.

    2. After reading Natasha's first installment of the "Lesbian Crushes" diary series, I was only too delighted to read the latest edition; Lesbian Crushes in France. This diary chronicles Natasha's stay in France as a student teacher in the early 90's. Natasha is trying to overcome heartbreak over her first love, Alex. But is also determined to make her year abroad exciting, and she does not disappoint.I think this diary definitely reflects the growth from the younger schoolgirl, Natasha, who had a de [...]

    3. This is the first book in the series that I read - but I liked it so much that I have started to download the other books to my kindle as well. The book is written as a diary - and is an easy and very entertaining read. I can relate to the unlikely hero of this book - Natasha is bulimic and shares here weight loss attempts and methods with the readers - she is infatuated with Ange after a bad break up with Alex. She prefers women - but men find her attractive and along the way she meets many oth [...]

    4. Lesbian crushes in France Holme was slightly disappointing as there was no sex. There was interest, there was friendship with Ange and fleeting moments with a few boys. My blood pressure rose when Nat went shoplifting and she conveyed little emotion in case she was caught. I felt it though. Both spent little time teaching English and were often travelling around and having more adventures, but in the main, they were often stoned, albeit on banana skins. Definitely a story of rebellion which YA r [...]

    5. *I was sent this book via PDF by the author in exchange for an honest review*Lesbian Crushes in France is a non fiction account of the author's ups and downs while teaching in France- it's very readable, I read most of it in one night. I liked the writing style a lot. It's also got a touch of humour to it, while staying a bit sad at times, particularly when Natasha thinks about an ex, or her eating disorder. It also had a very cute friendship aspect to it, and I enjoyed this book a lot. For fans [...]
