The story is still compelling, still well written and Daron is still my brother from another mother. Volume 8 doesn’t deal as much with Daron and Ziggy as volume 7 (though more than volume 6). There are a few notable and exciting encounters, but they mostly seem to lay the groundwork for future development. The main part of this book is about Daron’s professional development. He [...]

    2. ARC was given to me by publisher in exchange for an honest reviewHonestly, when I first started this book, I was confused. I mean, I was reading the eighth book in the series when I've never read #1-7. You know, that is really sucky.
