    1. This book is very interesting. The book talks about Clara Barton's life as a child and how she became interested in nursing. In also tells students what she did during the Civil War and how she started what is known as the Red Cross. This is a very inspiring story that students would appreciate.

    2. A story about Clara Barton who was an angel who helped both Union, and Confederate. She helped as many wounded soldiers as possible and saved many lives. I thought this book was amazing and i thought it showed lots of detail about how she helped lots and lots of many injured soldiers in the Civil War.

    3. I really enjoyed reading the biography of Clara Barton. Before reading this book I had no idea who she was or what her accomplishments were. The book is set up in an easy to read way and it also has a lot of information about the time period Clara Barton lived.

    4. Read this as one of the possibilities for teaching my students how to read biography. Social studies texts require a different approach than literature or science texts. This is a skill they are going to need to have before going on to high school.
