    1. I received an eARC, from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. 'To Love a Libertine' by Liana LeFey is the story of Eden Lowther and Lord Percival Falloure, Marquess of Tavistoke.Eden has been infatuated with Percy since she seen him a few season agobut has never met himuntil now. Eden has been asked to marry by several men but she has been holding out waiting possible for Percy. Percy used to be rake of the 'first order' and since his broken engagement he has taken to b [...]

    2. I received this from Netgalley/ Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review. This is book one in a new series by Liana LeFey. She is a new author for me and I must say that I throughly enjoyed this book. This story was well done and I enjoyed it a great deal. I definitely be looking for book 2 in this series. I want to know what happens next.

    3. ***I received this book for free from Entangled Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review, which was first posted on book blog Will Read for Feels.I’ll admit to a bit of shallowness in that the first thing that struck me about Liana LeFey’s To Love a Libertine was that the author and I share a first name. Then I read the blurb and was fascinated by the idea of two notorious Ton heartbreakers coming toget [...]

    4. 2.5 stars.I found this an okay historical read about a beautiful, independent miss who is in no rush to marry, and a reformed rake who has grown a conscience and needs to find a way to stave off the marriage-minded hordes. They meet, a connection is formed, yet the path to marriage is far from smooth thanks to an unimpressed mother-in-law and a rather unsuitable suitor. The main problem for me was that I didn’t particularly like Eden or Percy. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong with Per [...]

    5. It's the Seasons 1727 in London, where all the elites gather in the ballrooms. The ladies put on their best attires with the aim of catching the eyes of a prospective husband. Gossips are ripe at these events. Percival (Percy) is a Marquess. He used to have an unsavoury reputation up until two years ago when he had a heartbreak. He is the most eligible bachelor in town and is constantly pursued by the ladies. He comes up with the plan of going back to his old ways to get some reprieve from his p [...]

    6. I would say that the first half (at least) of this story moves at a slow pace. And while you get to know the characters, I felt as though there was a spark missing that would have made for a better first half. Perhaps it was the main characters - while it is undeniable that they had chemistry between them - there didn't seem to be many qualities to make them endearing to the reader. Especially when given the fact that Percy has fathered numerous illegitimate children across England - I have a ha [...]

    7. Since the marriage of his best friend to a woman he once thought he loved, Lord Percival Falloure the Marquess of Tavistoke has not been settled. All his old reprobate ways just bore him. He is heavily involved in dangerous investigations, and while they keep him busy he is still unsatisfied. It must be time to create a new scandal. He has the dubious title as the Terror of the Ton . He has seduced married women, even left a cuckoo in someone else's nest. No innocent young miss would dare to be [...]

    8. A taste of the forbidden leads to more than either bargained for. Liana Lefey pulled me in with To Love a Libertine. Danger is a welcome backdrop to this intricate foray into love. Percival and Eden have so much working against them. Secrets, disapproving family, vendettas and trust. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and would describe To Love a Libertine as complex, fast paced and addictive. Ms. Lefey made quite the impression on me with this mysterious and unforgettable couple [...]

    9. I absolutely loved this story!! Percival wants to do what he can to get the marriage minded mamas to stop looking at him as marriage material. So he comes up with a plan to make a scandal with the most notorious woman of the season. He didn't count on his plan backfiring!I loved the banter between Percival and Eden as well has the sparks that flew every time they were close to each other. I also loved watching as we learn that Percival is so much more than we think he is. That he is so much more [...]

    10. This historical romance was a little slow at the beginning but later became more interesting. It was my first read by Liana LeFey and I liked her writing style. Percival and Eden are two very attractive characters and the story is full of mysteries, family secrets, trust issues and a great chemistry between the main characters.I received a copy by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

    11. ★★★½ The writing and the flow of the story, albeit a bit slow in the beginning, definitely deserve four stars, but unfortunately I couldn't warm up to neither the hero or heroine which took away a bit of my enjoyment. Overall, a good book, especially for people looking for a historical romance not set in Regency or Middle Age. For more romance reviews, check out my website: katherinasbooks.wordpress
