    1. A very engaging read with an engaging and flawed narrator-lead character. I am interested to find that my local library has no other titles by this author, even though it looks like he has written at least 6 other books featuring this main character. The local used book store has none, also . . . hmmmmm will I be forced to buy from to get my next installment?

    2. A good, solid story. This is a prequel to another book, which I didn't know when I choose it. Lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing.

    3. I confess, I don't really know why I like these books. I just do. It helped that this one was set in southern Indiana.
