    1. After finishing the novel I didn't feel like I had read a book that is going to storm the bestsellers lists. Hydrhaga feels like a very organically written piece. The need to find out what comes next and to get to the end of the story overshadow the structure of the tale and the consistency of the world and its characters.     2. Het debuut van Kim ten Tusscher gaat over de hoofdpersoon Lumea. Zij heeft zo haar redenen om naar Hydrhaga te gaan. Eerst is ze nog in de stad van de mensen,Omnesia. Daar ontdekt ze dat er arbeiders zijn die de waterputten moeten herstellen. Die worden slecht behandeld terwijl de mensen zich ver boven hen verheven voelen. Dit is nog een gevolg van wat er in de proloog van het boek wordt verteld over elfen en mensen. Lumea probeert de weg naar Hydrhaga te ontdekken, maar het is erg lastig om daa [...]

    3. Een zeer mooi en vlot geschreven debut.'Goed' en 'Kwaad' lopen per personage in elkaar over, het is tenslotte maar hoe je iets wil zien en er zelf tegenover sta.Dat zorgt er gewoon voor dat je meer boeken wilt lezen van Kim ten Tusscher.
