    1. Kindle freebie, 4/7/2017, a sweet historical romance novella. Elizabeth is an 18 year old shopkeeper's daughter in Wallasey, England. And now I'm laughing hard because I managed to read this whole novella last night, thinking the entire time it was set in colonial America, until I checked back and confirmed the place just now. All I'm saying is, the historical setting is on the thin side.Anyway, Elizabeth's childhood sweetheart Stephen, of a poor Irish family, takes off to follow his lifelong dr [...]

    2. This is a novella length story so I read through it quickly. It's sweet and clean. For a novella, the romances was so drawn out and long. Elizabeth has the patience of a SAINT. I was even getting frustrated with her for waiting for Stephen for so long. I didn't feel the connection between the main characters so strongly that it had me firmly in Elizabeth's corner. This book was okay but not my favorite by this author. I love her other two books though and I'll keep coming back for more!I picked [...]

    3. I enjoyed Sailor's Kiss very much. I enjoyed the flow of the story and the tension that the author introduced. I really felt for the situations of each character and enjoyed the ending! Elizabeth and Stephen have an enduring love for one another that flows off of the pages. There was something about each character that was easy to identify with, really drawing me into their thoughts. I also thought that the scenes were well described. A great reading escape for a quiet afternoon that I want to r [...]

    4. This was pretty good but predictable and honestly, I didn't like how it ended. Living on a boat?! I liked that it connected to the author's other books though. Loved that it was a clean proper romance.

    5. Working Class Regency RomanceNo ballrooms, duels, nobility here, just merchant sailors , store owners and the working poor living outside of Liverpool, very nicely done.

    6. Elizabeth and Stephen are cute. Friends forever, now they plan to marry. Until Stephen leaves for sea. Enter the romantic tension. I'll leave it at that but I'm totally team romantic tension. However, I liked the ending and can't wait to read more.
