    1. V. PARENTAL GUIDANCE ALERT:A Court of Wings and Ruin is NEW ADULT/EROTICA but Goodreads editors won't tell you

LONG, DETAILED (and filled with gifs) REVIEW TO comeI'm so happy I found a safe read! Soooooooooooooooooooo cuuuuuuuuuuuuuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I want to be mistaken for a Gryfala Princess and I want my own Rakii Gladior and my team of hobs!Seriously I have so much to say about this book, thank you Kriss for the recommendation and Susani for the saftety info. Not a full 5 unfortunately, but I'm so recommending this to the safety gang. If you can ignore the editing and a weird second half, you'll [...]

    2. Wow! I am thoroughly surprised by this book. For a debut novel it was fabulous. There were things here or there that could be improved on but I absolutely loved this story. It caught my interest from page one and I couldn't put it down. Thanks B.E.Love for putting this on my radar. Arokh was an amazing hero. He heard Angie's screams and knew immediately he needed to help her, protect her. Obviously there was some miscommunication due to the difference in species. But it all gets sorted out. He w [...]

    3. Well, blue aliens this is not.And it's not that kind of alien either, but I just love that scene. Read for Halloween 2017 Reading Challenge - Alien categorySeries: Yea. And unfortunately, I read the second book as well as this one. That book, not so good. Sexy times: Sure but surprisingly mellow considering most alien romances are erotica disguised in blue skin. You get your sexy times, but nothing terribly OTT. Plan on reading more by the author: WellSynopsis Straightforward kidnapping followed [...]

    4. This is what sci fi romance should be. This wasn't just "Mars Needs Women!" like so many entries in this subgenre are. This story had logical clear world building and aliens who look and more importantly act alien. The story is told in alternate chapters from the hero who is the alien and the heroine who has been captured from Earth by slavers. The hero saves her because he thinks she is a princess of a race which his people revere. There is a language barrier so she is frightened and pretty mys [...]

    5. Surprising a good way!Despite the editing errors and lackluster cover art, this book managed to hit on all of my alien romance feels! Arokh was definitely my kind of alien: a hulking brute with the right blend of possessive and vulnerable. And the best part? He's actually an alien! Not just a hot guy with swirling tattoos and glowing eyes. He's scaled, horned, and breathes fire for goodness sakes! Probably the best alien romance I've read all summer. Will definitely be looking out for more from [...]

    6. If you are a fan of the sub genre of Science Fiction Romance that features abducted humans adjusting to aliening cultures, this book will be your jam. The title is awful. Why is it awful? Impossible to remember as unique and makes the book about a kind genre erotic fetish (not that there is anything wrong with that) than about the romance, plot, characters, and fun of the themes of the sub genre. If this book hadn't been recommended to me and on Kindle Unlimited. I would never had taken the chan [...]

    7. I loved everything, except the ending. These days I'm super busy with work, so reading hasn't been on the menu for almost half a year. Yes, it sounds crazy but life sucks so when I finally got time for the holidays to read, I really wanted it to be a good, solid story that I wouldn't regret reading it. And I had my eyes on this one ever since I've heard about it (maybe over half a year ago). I'm glad to say that it didn't let me down. The plot was really refreshing and unique. Also the pairing of [...]

    8. -Kindle Unlimited. It’s my favorite way to test out new-to-me authors and I’m so glad I borrowed this book.-Crackilicious read. Alien sci-fi roms tend to fall in my cracky read category because aliens. It’s about as escapist fantasy as it can get and when real life gets stressful, my reads get crackier and crackier. This reminds me in tone to my other cracky addiction, The Ice Planet Barbarians series. It’s not a dupe but it certainly gave me the same kind of feels with the romance, and [...]

    9. 4.5 starsReally loved this story! The heroine was pretty solid. Not TSTL, not overly annoying and was strong enough to handle her big tough alien. Of course I loved Arokh. How could I not? I am torn as to whether I can really get into aliens that really look like aliens. Some of it sounds gross and it is distracting for me. However, I just tried to ignore it.Overall, while this was a classic "mate" story it had more depth and humor.

    10. im still on my book slump and it took me 7 days to finish this. It's not the book it's MEe hero was perfect and surprise surprise I like the heroine enough but like I said it was me and I just couldn't enjoy it. Safety: (view spoiler)[ safe, no OW drama and no OM. (hide spoiler)]

    11. 3 1/2 "Sweet Rakhii Gladiator" Stars! This book was weird and wonderful; silly and sweet; hokey and hilarious. Overall though, I truly enjoyed this! Arokh completely stole my heart(s)-Lol! you'll have to read it- right from the start. So why 3 stars rather than 4? The story could use a little more clarity or maybe just fleshing out in the beginning. Ms. Milo started to get into her groove as the story progressed, but it just needed a little work. Also, it needed a lot of editing and formatting. I [...]

    12. I've found another series with big, strong, horned aliens! They're not blue and do not live on an ice planet, but they're great too! :)So, if you like the BBBs, you'll like these too! Come on and read this series! :)

    13. I had a mixed reaction to this alien/human romance. The out-of-this-world experience for Angie kicks off quick and nasty, when she is saved from a dire situation (assault triggers) by the alien gladiator Arokh. Highlights are the alien body parts, different cultures and the complete lack of ability to communicate. I wish the story had continued a little in that vein instead of - presto - brain hack and instant translation. My favorite parts were the misunderstandings between cultures and species [...]

    14. Great alien romanceThis was great! He rescues her, they don't know each others language, and they are being chased. The aliens and cultures are unique and cause misunderstandings and frustration. While happy, there are loose ends at the ending.I noticed that sometimes it switches between present and past tense so could use more editing.Mature content

    15. *trigger* (view spoiler)[brief assaut scene of the h, also a brief mention of rape of a minor character(hide spoiler)]Was a solid read for me till towards the end, must say I didn't care for the ending much, despite the protagonists getting to be together. I was expected a really impressive coup. This reminds me quite a bit of dixon's barbarian series, though I think our h is a lot less irritating, if not as quirky. She is pretty normal, or as normal acting as one can be given her situation. Ther [...]

    16. Started off really well (H is a sweetheart!)then seemed to catch a crazy train. Future book tropes don't appeal to me

    17. This has to be the cutest book I read this year!I remember reading a comment or something that said the H here is very much like Ehd from Transcendence. Well here's the thing, That's it. That was all I read. Like blinders, didn't hear nothing, didn't see nothing, I never even read the blurb, I just got it.That's all it takes. Just the mention of Ehd. *sigh*Arokh was very much like Ehd only like a fully functional version. <-----This isn't exactly right cause Ehd was freakin awesome but whatev [...]

    18. Before we get into my review, I gotta say it. The cover is awful. I won't beat up on it too much, since the author is self-publishing and there comes a certain territory with it, but I will say that it initially did turn me away, but since I kept seeing a huge amount of 4 and 5 star reviews and saw that this book was not only just 99 cents but was also 400 pages (I kind of make a rule to not buy a kindle book that's under 200 pages; otherwise I feel like I'm not getting much for my money, you kn [...]

    19. I really liked this book. Alien romance is my guilty pleasure and this book brought me lots of enjoyment. It has everything from humor, to steamy passionate romance, misunderstandings, action and some darkness. I loved how the author handled language barrier and that it was not solved instantaneously. Both main characters were awesome and i am hopping that we will have more books to come from the side characters.Book had some grammar issues, but to be honest it did not detract from enjoying this [...]

    20. A solid 4 star read! This is why I love indie authors! Yeah, there's some real awful books out there (story and/or editing), but then sometimes, you find gems like this one. There were a few errors that I noticed, but it was nothing drastic, and compared to other poorly edited books, not bad at all! This story was so entertaining! I really wasn't expecting much to begin with (another lesson in 'don't judge a book by its name/cover'), but I started it because I heard whispers that it was an alien l [...]

    21. There are few things that bothered me about this book. 1 The mish-mash of low tech and high tech that was never explained. 2 I can understand the case of mistaken identify, but for half of the book our h is mistaken for totally different species, despite significant physical differences ( wings; sharp teeth etc )3 Being protective is one thing but the H was so over the top OC that it was almost smothering. All of the above taken in to consideration, it was ab OK read.

    22. I must admit, I was a bit judgmental before checking this book out. I found the book title and cover to be a bit lame and generic. I was pleasantly surprised with this book though!!! I read a lot of alien sci-fi romance and this one had all of the elements for greatness. The plot was action packed and fast paced. It didn't have an insta-love feel to it and the relationship between the hero and heroine felt genuine and developed. I adored all of the characters. Even the secondary characters were [...]

    23. I liked it, very enjoyable but not an easy read. Combining my reads on PNR or scifi I shouldn't feel like a stranger but I found it hard to understand and imagine but I got used to a while after and it was a good adventure. While I like my fictional read on the scifi and pnr being fun, this one wasn't in the humor category but I still couldn't skip any part and it wasn't a full bio of species. It was about the essential, the characters, the culture (just what needs to know), all the actions. And [...]

    24. Really good. Well written and proofread. Funny and snarky heroine. Reminds me of the humor in the Cat Star Chronicles. Recommended.

    25. We all know that feeling; you can’t stop smiling; the butterflies in your stomach; work days seem to become twice as long as all you’ve got on your mind is getting back to your heart’s desire. We’ve all felt in and recognise the symptoms of find a brand new author to fan girl over. Well, that’s what happened to me when I started reading Amanda Milo’s Stolen by an Alien series. She gets me. She understands that I love a romance involving an alien that’s actually a bit alien.I really [...]

    26. Wow. Just wow. I enjoy the latest style of writing - à la Alexa Riley etc - so much (had you told me a year or so ago that I would *enjoy* first person works, I would have laughed in your face, but I have done a complete 180. These are so well-executed!). And this author's voice has me giggling!Man, this series pushes all my buttons. First of all, it's sci-fi romance with abducted ladies, my favourite. We have heroes who are virgins (or basically virgins), utterly devoted to their mate, are hum [...]

    27. I liked this book. It was easy and fun to read and it made me smile. The start of it felt so familiar like I had read a book quite like this (but without the Alien aspect) Never in a million years did I think I'd read let along enjoy reading about Aliens. I didn't want to stop reading. I loved Arokh. I'd never had thought I'd find aAlienso sweet. Not gonna lie, he was a littletoooverprotective over Angie a lot of the time but *shrugs* Angie grew on me and the more I read the more I liked her. I a [...]

    28. Pleasantly surprised how much I loved this book. Ms. Milo has put in her work building an intricate world, interesting characters and a touching love story that builds slowly as they gain respect and understanding for one another. I highly recommend this book for those who love fantasy/sci fi-romance.
