    1. An important book, as not that much about archaeology on the Iberian peninsula is available in English and much has happened in the field the last 30-40 years - after a slow start at a time when many other countries did a lot for the professional independence of archaeology. But the scope is just too wide - the Neolithic and Middle Ages in the same book can make for a quite disjointed impression.
