    1. A little bittersweet since this was my last cooking class book. So much was going on as Annie tried to help clear Jim's cousin. She's really considering herself as a PI and really went after it. I do like the characters and this was a fun book set more in suburbia.

    2. This is the fifth book in the series (and the third that I've read) and I enjoyed it.Just as Annie and Jim are about to get married, Alex (Jim's cousin who is visiting from Scotland) gets arrested for murder. It doesn't look good that he was found in an alley, with a knife in his hand, and laying on the victim, Vicki. He asks Annie, who is the business manager of Jim's pub, to find out what happened. She fancies herself as an amateur detective and everyone encourages her even Tyler, Eve's bad-as [...]

    3. Annie Capshaw has her hands full getting ready for her wedding day. Annie is marrying Jim McDonald, the owner of Bellywasher’s and her boss. Annie is determined to keep the wedding low-key in spite of her best friend Eve.Jim’s cousin Alex has flown over from Scotland to remodel Jim’s house as a wedding present for Annie. The remodeling comes to a halt when Alex is arrested for murder. The victim is a woman that Alex has been meeting every Tuesday evening at a local restaurant. Annie is sur [...]

    4. This is the fifth book in the Cooking School mystery series. The stories are quick reads (I just read the last four in the past two weeks). Annie and Eve (and the rest of the gang) are fun characters to follow. As for this book As with most cozy mysteries, the fun is in following the characters as their lives unfold. The mysteries just make that more interesting. They're often clever, but never too taxing. The only negative I have for this book is that after three murders solved--and Annie nearly [...]

    5. I couldn't make myself finish. I'm not sure why Eve stays friends with Annie. Annie is insecure and because of this is constantly putting her best friend down - if not always out loud, then constantly in her head. Eve is pretty but Annie makes it seem like that is all Eve has going for her - that and money and her fashion sense. She acts like Eve is a ditz and like she is so much smarter than Eve and everyone else around her. It's a major turn off to me how much of this there is in this series.

    6. Annie is going to marry Jim. Eve is trying to plan their wedding. Alex, Jim's cousin, is accused of murder. Annie has to clear him and found out who done it. I figured it out once the 2nd women died. I think she got the idea from the Hitchcock "Strangers on a Train". I enjoyed this series and I'm going to miss it.

    7. I was wandering the library and noticed a special collection of "clean" books, no sex or bad language. So I thought I would give it a try. It was an easy and fun read. It is the 3rd or 4th in a series and I am thinking I might read the others.

    8. This series is a quick and fun read. This time, Annie has to solve a murder (or two) before her wedding. Why? So that Jim's cousin Alex (who is accused of the murder) can attend the wedding. What I didn't bargain for was the intricacy of the plot and the final outcome! Wow!

    9. I truly enjoyed this delightful romp of a murder mystery. Those words sound contradictory? Well yes, however, I suggest you read it yourself and I think you might agree.Would I recommend this seriesoh yes. I eagerly await the next one.

    10. A good addition to the series, this book takes Annie through her pre-wedding days, busy with not only wedding plans but also solving two murders to clear her husband-to-be's cousin so he is free for the big day. A good read!

    11. This 5th book in the Cooking Class Murders is another wonderful book. Annie is planning her wedding to Jim and trying to rein in Eve's extravagance when Alex, the best man and Jim's cousin, is arrested for murder. Annie goes "undercover" to find out the truth behind marriage in the suburbs.

    12. I am bummed that it looks like no more books are going to be written in this series, one more would have been great. Anyways, Annie and Jim are getting married- yah. Annie and Eve have another few murders though to solve first.

    13. I am enjoying this one. This series keeps getting better with each book. Annie is great and Eve is a great addition to the series. The great recipes don't hurt either.

    14. I really enjoyed this one. For a cozy, it had a really good mystery and I didn't figure out anything before the end. :)
