    1. Sweet, May/December story that has all of Lindsay Armstrong’s hallmarks. A naïve, yet intelligent virgin heroine. A complicated hero who has a past (in this case a six year-old secret baby who is coming to visit), lush descriptions of the setting, and a long separation between the H/h to add to the angst. Some other nice touches – not one but two dogs - although Nemo was the pup who stole every scene he was in. The h had an actual job as an interpreter, a home, and friends outside of the H. [...]

    2. And the trip down the memory lane of HP sleeping pills continues.Lol. It took a few minutes but I remembered this one ! God I have read a lot snooze fests in my time. I gotta tell you This "novel" was phoned in by the author. Seriously. It was BORING. I don't like this author's style of writing and there was a total lack of chemistry between the MC's. At first I thought there would be so many possibilities but then the story line devolved into one where the heroine was playing child minder/babys [...]

    3. nice 1 but the tone was too monotone. no scorching chemistry, no angst, no drama here. just a plain simple n nice story. it did not work 4 me though it's likeable. alex is the girl next door kinda girl. she gets employed by max goodwind n falls instantly 4him. her wit, her sense of humour, her franknesswell truly it was her naivety n her youth, won max over. i really felt like max was a cradle snatcher in some parts of the book bcoz alex was so naive n childish. i have 2 give it 2 max, he was re [...]

    4. Alexandra Hill isn't the usual glamorous employee that CEO, Max, is looking for but he must hire her with the condition she agrees to a makeover! Max is shocked by the beauty she becomes. What a difference the right clothes and haircut made! Now his thoughts turn to her becoming his mistress not just his secretary!Work place romance have a special place in my heart. This isn't one set in an office but that was fine with me. I really enjoyed this fast paced read.

    5. This book was really really sweet but it's also what made it rather boring. The h is a rather young and rather sheltered orphaned 21 year old interpreter who is hired at the last minute by the rather older H (mid 30's) . He's having a mare having just found out that he's got a 6 year old son that was hidden from him by a rather selfish ex lurver (she's not a total witch but she is selfish) and he's rather a workaholic. He reluctantly hires the h on the proviso she gets a makeover Cinderella styl [...]

    6. Overall this was a quick fun read with charming H/h. A tame romance, but the characters were very likable and you were drawn into the story and their romance. A little sappy at the end, but for a light read, it fit the bill nicely (rhough the author had a tendency to over-describe the rooms/furnishings).

    7. A surprisingly old fashioned romance, which might not appeal to those who prefer the racier romances. Good

    8. Too many POVs in this book made it unradable. I don't need to know what every Tom, Dick and Harry thinks about the main characters. The tension was entirely lost.

    9. I'm not torturing myself again by reading a book with the australian dialect. I was confused half of the time, so I didn't really enjoy reading it.

    10. The first half of the book was a good setup, but the conflict to keep them apart didn't really makes sense and the resolution was contrived and rushed.
