    1. Reviewed by Jaglvr for TeensReadTooTHE SIGHT is actually the compilation of two previously released novels, PREMONITIONS and DISAPPEARANCE. Originally published in 2004 and 2005, the two stories are now combined into one work. The two books revolve around Gracie. She is uprooted from her home in Maryland after her mother is killed in a car accident. Gracie has always had feelings about things. And the day her mother dies, she begs her mother not to leave the house. She has a bad feeling something [...]

    2. The premonitions started after Gracie almost drowned, and no matter how much she wishes it, they won’t stop. They sneak up on her unawares, giving her flashes of insight into the past or the future. They’ve only ever caused trouble for Gracie until tragedy strikes close and the premonitions become the keys to solving the mystery. Gracie realizes that she can no longer cruise along in the backseat of her life—she has to take action. With the disappearance of her friend Emily, the reappearan [...]

    3. Truly remarkable.Though, it has been a while since I read it during my 9th grade but it still stands out whenever I reminisce about the time when there was freedom to read as long as you could without restrictions and obligations. Some days.Anyway, this book was one of its kind, not entirely teensy. Though, I admit the protagonist had a good reason to be a little crybabyish. Who would've thought premonitions could be this inconvenient, huh? When all I could wish for was a little glimpse into the [...]

    4. Its been a while that I've read the second part since that's what I'd read first unaware that Premonitions is the second book but I've been fortunate enough to get my hands on this sequel combo which by the way is brain storming. I've never been on the edge of my couch the way I was while reading this book. The plot has the most unpredictable yet completely believable twists. The story line of a girl seeing future isn't really new on the shelves but the sheer edginess and grip of the plot is. I' [...]

    5. I loved this book much more than I expected to. At the beginning of Premonitions, I felt that Gracie was broken. but as the story progressed, I began to like her more and Diego, Shay and Joe [Detective Pasta] lol. And towards the end, I could feel her healing. Coming to terms with her grief. And I couldn't help but feel sorry for Jonah. I definitely liked Disappearance too, and Nate? UGH!! I felt that Gracie should have told Rachel who he really was. I don't think that he will support her and So [...]

    6. Finally, done reading it. It just can't stop making me wondering and wondering. I'm just getting more curious and more curious every time I turned from pages to pages. I'm just so thrilled!!! Truly, I'm not regretting for buying this book and I'm glad of it! Basically, this book keeps making me asking "why" and "why" and "why" and guess what? I'm still asking why even though I'm done reading it. Oh, oh, I also wish I got the psychic abilities like Gracie did. Hoho

    7. I thought this book was a fun read. I enjoyed the main character, Gracie, I felt she was interesting and relatable. Gracie has a special gift of second sight. Throughout the book, Gracie, solves mysteries using her ability. I enjoyed the the story and found it interesting.

    8. A fairly good book for someone into mystery novels. But the thing is, it was not as mysterious as I wanted it to be. I read it a long time ago and I wanted to just write a review and I remember all the incidents that happened. I think mostly because she's a kid who has super natural powers, she has a disadvantage. In #2 she isn't allowed to go to the murder scene because she's a kid. And you expect her to unravel every mystery there is. Ummm.t gonna happen. Also I thought the plot twists were ki [...]

    9. I enjoyed this, but I do think that the main character was pretty thick headed. The way she treated people was pretty frustrating. I took a long time to get into this little series. It is good, but not the best thing I have ever read.

    10. I know I'm not done yet with this book, but it's originally two books; Premonitions and Disappearance. I read Premonitions 5 years ago, and I still remember how it made me feel. It was the first book I read other than Harry Potter series or Goosebumps series. So reading a stand-alone book was new experience for me. Re-reading was thrilling, I enjoyed it as much as I did when I was 16. So I recommend this book to thriller, Sci-Fi and mystery lovers to read it. if you are considering reading it ST [...]

    11. I recieved The Sight by Jude Watson as a review book from Books. I was estatic to find that this is actually two novels in one. The first book being Premonitions and the second is Disappearance. These are the first two books in the a series; about a young girl by the name of Gracie. Gracie is not your typical girl after having been seeing visions since she was 10 years old. Although, Gracie finds herself fighting this fight alone after having lost her mother in a fatal car accident.[return][ret [...]

    12. When I requested this novel from goodsreads bookwasp, I actually did not have high hopes for it. After reading the first page, I cringed at having picked up another angst filled young adult novel where the lead is so antisocial and broken that all they have is contempt for the world around them. That lasted about three pages before the writing was dominate by plot and character development. I was so surprised by the change, I almost had whiplash. If I ever rate a young adult novel more than thre [...]

    13. The SightBy Judy Blundell This book, The Sight by Judy Blundell, is about a girl named Gracie. Gracie has a gift. She has a gift that she isn’t really sure if she wants it. When her best friend Emily disappears and she can’t be found Gracie is forced to use her gift or premonitions to find her. The premonitions that she has will help her and will not. She has different premonitions at different times of the day. As Gracie's premonitions go on she finds some information that she might not wan [...]

    14. Judy Blundell takes readers into the labyrinth of questions through flickers of psychic flashes, revealing bit by bit of clues and information. Past, present and future collides in a chaotic and suspenseful experience that will leave readers thrilled and curious. Blundell explores the depth of pain and grief in this dark novel. There are times that I was frustrated and slightly annoyed with Gracie. Let’s face it, she isn’t a likable character. She pushes away the people who want to help her, [...]

    15. Premonition - 4 starsI really liked this novel. It started off a little slow, but I really liked how Watson tied it all up in the end. I really don't have much to say about this book, as you can see, but it was pretty good. I definitely recommend it.Disappearance - 5 starsI loved this part of the novel! It was truly amazing. I really had no idea how this one was going to end up. I felt this sort of connection with this novel. It was a pretty fast read, to be honest. I really liked Gracie. Very g [...]

    16. Honestly, when I first saw this book, I was like, OMG I so wanna read this. The cover is great, the title is great, the summary is great. But then, I opened the book and. BAM! What a disappointment. I read the first 50pages and it was dead boring. Every time I tried reading it some more, I fell asleep. Honest. I was so excited to read the book because it looked so amazing and it let me down. I was not captivated enough to read the rest of the book. Even though it might have gotten better, I deci [...]

    17. The book is a piece of evidence that Judy still knows what the readers expect when they buy the book. The cover of the book is exactly what the book is about "A disturbed mind beyond a beautiful face". The entire story revolves around the key character Gracie. Throughout the book Gracie has abilities to empathize what a few fellow subjects in the book think and can also pick up flash of the past, present and future of a disturbed mind. Rather than involving another person into Gracie's premoniti [...]

    18. I thought I wouldn't like this book when I started reading but the book had really good ratings so I read it anyways. I ended up like it and it was surprising because there wasn't any romance in it and I'm all for romance. (Cliche) Anyways, it was really nice and I like murder mystries so Yay! I like her character because sometimes, I can relate. Many people can relate to not feeling like you fit in, whether it's in your family or with friends or in school altogether. It was an amazing book or s [...]

    19. VOYA Codes: 3Q, 4P, MJS.This was a fun, fast read, and another that I'll be suggesting to reluctant readers. My only complaint is that while Judy/ Jude does a FANTASTIC job of building tension, the climaxes to the stories themselves fall a little short of the rest of the book. However, I don't think that's a fault that a student would catch, and if more books were to be published in this mini-series I'd recommend them without hesitation to just about any middle school student and a whole lot of [...]

    20. I'm currently reading the book The Sight by Jude Watson/Judy Blundell. I'm not yet halfway to finishing it, but so far it's really good. Here's my summary:Gracie has premonitions. She doesn't know what to do with them, because all that she saw never lead to anything good. But ever since her best friend, Emily disappeared, she's forced to use her premonitions to find and save her. Many things are unraveled along the way, but there's also some secrets that are better left unknown. It's good, and su [...]

    21. Falling in love with Judy Blundell/ Jude Watson is easy to do. Her writing is suspensful and easily relatable. Family and friend issues, school problems and crimes in a small town in Washington doesn't seem likely, but Judy/Jude prooves that not all towns, are good. I loved both books in The Sight. Gracie is always thinking one step ahead of the police, and with her gift, finding out clues that not even forensics could find out. It is my absolute favorite book on the face of the earth. And one s [...]

    22. Perfectly-paced with characters that are REAL. Made for those who are into the paranormal and mystery genres. I loved both novels. Love the way the book is written in present tense, a style of writing you don't see everywhere. The book captures you from the first page and even though the story has us quite confused at some points, everything always clears up.Writing style is similar to that of Hunger Games.

    23. I thought this book was pretty good. I really enjoyed the characters. I liked the first novel better. Gracie is brave and not afraid to follow her instincts and I like that when it comes to characters. AND IT WAS NOT A GUSHY ROMANCE!!! that was so nice. I finally got a break from the sickening gooey romances. Gracie has a crush on a boy, but it doesn't go into detail. I highly recommend these books.

    24. Overall this book, which includes two books in the series, is a good read. The first book Premonitions and the second book Disappearance are attention grabbers. They pull you in and you can't stop reading until you find out what really happened and who did what. Premonitions was a little odd, but Disappearance was the best book out of the two. This is a great volume for those who are fans of mystery and thrillers.

    25. Two novels in one, Premonitions and Disappearance. The novels are centered around a teenager named Gracie. She has moved to Beewick Island to live with her aunt after the death of her mother. Her father disappeared when she was very young. Gracie has premonitions of things that have happened. In the first book, she must use her talent to locate a kidnapped friend. In the second book, she uses her gift to solve a murder. Girls will enjoy these stories.

    26. I am a sucker for books about psychics ever since the Girl with the Silver Eyes came out in the 80's naturally I loved this one. High appeal with middle grade readers, and local appeal for Washington residents (takes place on an island that sounds like Bainbridge). Action, adventure, and a little like watching television. Beach fun.

    27. The book has premonitions and disappearanceit consists of two novels by author JUDY BLUNDELL writing as JUDE WATSONIT is about a girl gracie and a lost friend emily!!! She has premonitions her mother and uncle died and she lives with her Aunt ShayGracie's long absent father returns. and his history is remarkable!! Try it!!

    28. I really, really enjoyed this book! I read it after I read the book clarity by Kim Harrington because I really liked the premise. The two stories are both very intriguing although I liked the second one more. I forgot the title of this book and was trying to remember it and I finally have! I'd definitely recommend this book for any mystery lovers. I couldn't put it down!
