    1. Instant favorite.Chemistry from page one? Check.Realistic h/h? Check. As I read "Jerred's Price" I found myself experiencing echoes of "Reaper's Property" and the initial scruffy anger of Xadist (from J.K. Ward). Of course, these characters are in no way copies and stand alone -- completely separate from the familiar stories. I just think that there were elements present in those stories that reminded me of what I loved about the others. Loved the development, the characters, the conflicts -- esp [...]

    2. Giselle works as a barmaid at a space station when Jerred walks in looking like he's huge trouble. She flirts around the bar and I guess this gets Jerred interested in a "How much?" way. She's not for sale but Jerred tells her everything has a price. When she sees a murder and has to get out of the space station, Jerred has finally found her price. I liked this book and the series has been consistently good. I would recommend this book/series.

    3. The author's voice is really wonderful, but overall this one was just okay. Briefly, it was too short, I had too many issues with how the plot, such as it was, played out, I didn't feel like the hero & heroine remotely resolved the way their relationship started, and there were too many distracting editing errors (incorrect word usage [discrete=/=discreet], sentences with words missing, sentences with words that shouldn't be there, etc.) for me to love it as much as I wanted to. I hesitated [...]

    4. Futuristic with an action plot, part of a loose group of [seemingly:] non-overlapping stories set against the same background. Enjoyable read-once. I'll be looking for the othersSaurellian FederationAvailable in ebook:Dragon's MistressGarnets or Bust or in Glamorous Garnet anthologyGladiator's Prize Serendipity or in Wicked Wishes anthologySurvival's PriceAvailable in print:The Price of Pleasure (2003)The Price of Freedom (2006)Jerred's Price (2009)

    5. Less plot than the other full length books of the series. Read the review at Alpha Fangirlphafangirl/sci-fi-ro

    6. I liked the romance between the h/h, for it progressed in what I'd thought was a natural way. There were a couple of things that I think I know what they were, but weren't fully explained in the story. I wonder if I missed a story or two in the series and should already know the answers but don't. Otherwise, good one here. B rating.

    7. I was a bit disappointed because I thought that we will see a story developing for the main characters and some action. I was looking forward to Logan's story and the future of the federation. The books seem to contain independent stories and they seem unfinished.

    8. This book was alright, but it had much less of a plot than the previous books in the series. I enjoyed parts of it, though. The same Saurellian Federation world, but nothing was really expanded from the previous books.

    9. I had to give this 2 stars because the middle of this story made no sense. There was not a lot time that the characters had spent together to pull off them falling for each other. To many misspelled words and words in wrong spots. This story would have been okay if not for the middle.
