    1. This book, from the U.K is an overview of Groucho's life, sprinkled with quotes. Author David Brown (not to be confused with the late American film producer) makes the unforgivable error of attributing the "I knew Doris Day before she was a virgin" line to Groucho, when everyone (well, nerds like me) knows it was Oscar Levant who said it. Still, although I learned nothing new, it always makes me happy to read about the Marx Brothers.
