    1. 4 to 4 1/2 stars His fingers tangled in her hair. He jerked her head back, the pain making her eyes water. Her teeth tore free of his flesh and her skin tingled where his blood trickled down her chin.Teeth bared in a feral snarl, he held her at arm's length. His chest rose and fell. His eyes narrowed to slits.Gone was the good humor and the bad-boy grin. Here was a beast, a warrior, a predator who was used to being at the top of the food chain. And she'd just taken a bite out of that. "What the f [...]

    2. Heads up: I received an Arc for Sins of the Flesh in exchange for an honest review! Finally finished another amazing book in the month of April. I loved this book so much, it is the third book in the Otherkin series. This series is so unique and interesting, I feel like everyone should read it. The world is so different and the characters are so strong and outgoing. Whenever I read about a new character that I like, I feel afraid because of the pain that they might go through in the book. If you [...]

    3. Sins of the Flesh5 Stars Malthus Krayl is intent on discovering the truth behind the heinous murder of his brother and will let nothing stand in his way until he encounters Calliope Kane, a sworn enemy who tempts him beyond reason. As a Daughter of Aset, Calli has an intense personal and professional hatred of Soul Reapers and is particularly unnerved when she finds herself inexplicably drawn to one. Mal and Calli must learn to trust their feelings before the traitors in their midst get the bett [...]

    4. I am so glad I stuck with this series! These books just keep getting better and better. Mal, Alastor and Dagan still haven't solved the mystery of their brother Lokan's death. Alastor and Dagan are each mated to a Daughter of Aset. And now, it's Mal's turn.Calliope has no idea who or what Mal is when she approaches him in a bar. She only knows that she needs to feed from the energy of a man and she'd rather use sex than blood to get her fill. Since Mal is essentially sex on a stick, he seems a p [...]

    5. This is book three of the Otherkin trilogy. If I am not mistaken, book three of a trilogy means 'its a wrap'. Not the case here. Although I love Ms. Silver's writing (for the most part) and the story concept, I am very disappointed in the ending. The main characters -- Mal and Calliope were introduced in the first book. They hooked up in this book pretty much following the same script as the previous books. I simplify but basically it was a template that worked well through three books. Ms. Silve [...]

    6. In Sins of the Flesh it's final Soul Reaper son of Sektet Mal's turn to take a stab at solving the mystery behind the brutal - and supposedly impossible - death of his brother Lokan. While hunting for clues Mal vies with Calliope Kane to gain possesion of a man who may have the answers Mal seeks and the answers the daughter of Asset seek to surpress. Calliope's hatred of Soul Reapers is much more than the bad blood between their patron gods - Callipoe's reasons are far more personal. As adversar [...]

    7. DNF. I bought this on sale at audible months ago not realizing it was book 3 in a series that MUST be read in order. After about 10% into this one I was so lost. I may pick up the first two some day if they ever make the sale, but what I listened to didn't exactly peek my interest anyway.

    8. Originally posted at WickedLilPixie ReviewsMalthus Krayl is one of four sons of Sutekh. Sutekh is also known as Seth, Seteh and even Lord of Evil. He is described as the Underworld überlord of chaos. Mal and his brothers are soul reapers, well, his 2 other brothers Dagan and Alastor are because they are still alive. His 3rd brother Lokan was skinned and butchered, beginning the Otherkin trilogy with Sins of the Heart. In Sins of the Flesh, Dagan, Alastor and Mal continue their search to find ou [...]

    9. Its been very interesting getting to know each of the Krayl brothers and watching them fall in love one by one with woman who are suppose to be their enemies. I think I’ve said this before, but I love how even though the outcome of each book in this series is essentially the same regarding the boys and their love lives, I like that Eve Silver uses a different approach and puts the boys on different paths to get them to that point.Malthus Krayl, a.k.a Mal is the third youngest of the Krayl brot [...]

    10. My favorite story as I loved Mal the best of the 3 brothers from the very beginning However it is also my least favorite couple pairing which takes away some of the enjoyment. Mal Krayl wants the world to see him as someone who only wants a good time, what he does not want is for anyone to see past that shield he has erected to keep himself from emotional pain! Having lost his "love hundreds of years ago he has since then connected only physically and never emotionally with his bed partners. Cal [...]

    11. Malthus Krayl is a soul reaper and one of the sons of the Underworld god of chaos Sutekh. He lives each moment to the fullest and nothing means more to him than his brothers. After the murder of his youngest brother, he goes in search for information to find those responsible and make them pay. Before Mal could get anything out of the man he knows has information, he is taken from Mal by a tempting beauty he should not crave.Calliope Kane is a Daughter of Aset and has a deep hatred for soul reap [...]

    12. Eve Silver has been added to my must read list!! For her third book in the Otherkin Trilogy I was awe-struck. Finally I could find the end of the story coming together and then Eve Silver adds the next big puzzle piece to look forward to. "Torn between lust and loyaltyThe blood of the Underworld lord of evil runs through soul reaper Malthus Krayl’s veins.Raised to fight for survival and to kill for victory, he can destroy anyone who poses a threat. As he searches for the one responsible for hi [...]

    13. This review was originally posted at Vampire Book Club.Eve Silver has officially made my auto-buy list. As I said in my review of the second Otherkin book Sins of the Soul, her prose is stunning. The same is true in Sins of the Flesh, the final book in the trilogy.Through the three novels, we have met three soul reaper brothers — demigods — who have sought the remains of their brother in the hopes of resurrecting him. Malthus, the brother focused on in Sins of the Flesh, is also keen to make [...]

    15. Sins of the Flesh is the 3rd and final book in the Otherkin trilogy. It tells the story from Malthus Krayl's perspective. The search for their brother's soul and killer continues.Calliope, Roxy's former mentor and Daughter of Aset, is a strong character. We first met her in book #1, Sins of the Heart. At first, I wasn't sure if she was a good mate for Malthus, who is an adrenaline junkie and risk-taker and more importantly, Calliope hates Soul Reapers. But, their story quickly has you hoping tha [...]

    16. Book 3 in the OtherKin series is all about the 3rd brother, Mal. We get to dive further into the mystery and suspense of the death of Lokan and all the players that are intertwined with it. This mystery just get more and more twisted, and the big finale of it all is just amazing! Mal, our main male lead in this book, is a player. Ever since losing his love hundreds of years ago, when he was still a young man and unaware of his parentage, Mal has jumped from one bed to the next, never settling do [...]

    17. My favorite of the series so far and I think it has much to do with the hero (Mal). That being said, the truth about this series' mystery is revealed in this book, so reading them in order is A MUST (I hated book 2, though). And it's basically a not-so-shocking-in-hindsight SHOCKER which leaves us with one of Eve Silver's signature cliffhangers (she's GOOD at them, too). I was DEFINITELY left intrigued and can't wait to read the next book in this series!

    18. The start of this book was a little slow but then it really picks up and you just fly though it .Oh my god i just love Melthus so much ,his first meeting with Calliope was so steamy ! Mel is such a great character and i enjoyed reading his book, he's a live in the moment kinda guy and i love that about him :) , this push and pull relationship between him and Calli is intense ,i felt like the fact that Calli actually hates Soul Reapers for what they did to her family is a obstacle that they both [...]

    19. This book is my favorite of the series so far, and I suspect it’s because I enjoy Malthus’s playful character so much.WHY I LIKE IT— -- Of the romance plots in the series, Malthus and Calliope’s has the most developed and emotionally touching non-physical growth. It is delightful, humorous, sad, and poignant all at once. The portrayal of “only enthusiastic consent” is excellent and lends the physical an even greater sexiness.- I’ve said that the physical intimacy in previous books [...]

    20. Not My Favorite in the SeriesMalthus Krayl, now the youngest of the three remaining soul reaper sons of Sutekh, überlord of the Underworld, is the only one of his brothers who doesn't think they are going to be able to bring their murdered brother Lokan back from the dead. The adrenaline junkie with a bad boy Lothario complex a mile wide keeps that opinion on the down low, however, because he's right on board with both Dagan and Alastor about finding whomever is responsible for that death and m [...]

    21. This has been my favourite book in this series. I loved Malthus and Calliope, and the background story is picking up the pace. These books have been a delight to read. They fall somewhere between paranormal romance and urban fantasy, making the stories really engaging. As soon as I put one book down, I pick up the next one.

    22. Schaper's stuffExcellent. I wondered many things and made many guesses as I read this book but didn't understand the ramifications until the very end. As I said about the previous books, a little of everything: romance, mystery, and a little racey. Not for the faint of heart. Love it, I did.

    23. An Absorbing Tale!Unusual story lineGods & Demi-gods, daemons, & humans-- Legends & storylines from The Egyptian Book of The Dead, murder & oh-so-hot love scenes doesn't get much Better than this!

    24. I Enjoyed this book, as well as the others in this series. It was fast paced but not so much that I felt the ending was rushed. I also appreciate that the heroine has a backbone and isn't some simpering twit like you find in so many other books.

    25. I really liked this one. So far it's been the best in the series and we finally got some answers. I'd suggest reading the books in order. You may be a little lost if they are read out of order.

    26. Still love this series. However, this book was not my favorite of the set. I felt like Calli and Mal fell in love very quickly. It was too abrupt.

    27. ExcellentThis book is very well written. I could not put it down till I finished it. I loved this book.
