    1. I've been following the markets for the better part of 25 years, and over the years I've come across many books, articles, and profiles of Warren Buffett; seen him interviewed countless times on CNBC, even watched a documentary about him on Danish television last week, so I approached Buffett with reasonably low expectations - how much more was there to learn? Quite a bit apparently. This book is as good as the book on his partner Charlie Munger (previously reviewed) was bad. Lowenstein does a g [...]

    3. Must read for all investorsA legend demistified. Also gives one a ringside view of over 40 years of US Money market and money game

    4. Excellent read. There are a lot of details on different individuals and companies and points in time over Buffett's life. When I finished, I decided to read it all through again just so that I could absorb everything that it contained. You will probably find yourself doing the same!

    5. I've always figured Warren Buffett for a smart dude but this helped my dim mind start to grasp what has made him so extraordinarily good at deciding where to put money. Throughout his career, Buffett was thinking about businesses in a way few people were with a patient, growing capital base almost no other investors had. He stuck to his fundamental principles while constantly evolving at the fringes. And he has been remarkably focused and enthusiastic with his work and fulfilling his vision. Buf [...]

    6. An amazing book. The author took 3 years to write this book. And the three years have been wonderfully spent. Reading his biography will make you dream. The book shakes that specific corner of your mind that keeps you lazy and hence prevents you from accomplishing the things that you have always wanted to.

    7. A fasinating portrayl of the worlds richest man. Whilst this book will give you a firm grasp of buffets investing style, it also gives a intreguing view of the man himself who far from being a dispicable banker comes across as a man of integrity and purpose whilst being unbelievably obsessive. A great read for anyone who wants to know what it takes.

    8. This book was published well before Alice Schroeder's biography so some the materials feels dated. It still has some great insights into what makes Buffet tick. Worthwhile for any Buffett fan.
