    1. 5/5 stars of course (and so far my favorite in the series) When these two rings connect, every action that was a product of anger or hate will cease to exist. And they will be worn only by a man from the sea and a woman from the earth, or the child that will exist from such a couple. And they will forever symbolize true love and its power against every bad thing There are reasons this book is my favorite in the series, although I love it as a whole. Unlike the others that have the occasional lau [...]

    2. Emily Windsnap is half mermaid half ordinary girl. She loves going to mermaid school and being with her best friend Shona. One day everything changes when she finds a magical ring buried in the sand. One Emily put it on, it won't come off. Then Emily sends Neptune into rage and he curses her and sends her boat across the ocean to an un-none place. When the boat settles down she sees a castle buried in mist. Emily and Shona go out to the castle but the closer they get the father away the castle i [...]

    3. This is the third book in the Emily Windsnap series, a half human half mermaid teenager trying to find her way in life. The wonderful descriptions of the undersea world were back in this book, including a new habitat of the Castle above land that was vividly brought to life. In this book Emily stumbles across a ring while looking for jewels for King Neptune and accessories to be beautiful for his visit. When she puts it on it is a magical ring that she can not remove, she can feel it has a purpo [...]

    4. Storyline Emily Windsnap and the Castle in the Mistis the third book in the Emily Windsnap series. One morning, Emily and her class find out in school that Neptune, the mer-king, is coming to the school, and they must search for as many jewels and feathers that they can to decorate themselves for Neptune's arrival. Emily and Shona, her best friend in the world, set off to find some jewels. But while Emily is there, she found a ring, a ring with a big diamond on top. But what she didn't realise i [...]

    5. In this third tail flipping adventure Emily finds herself stuck with a ring. And finds a boy with her same fate and another matching ring. With no idea that the ring were once Neptune's and hold a great power. With this power what will happen? Read it to find out. This is a good book that I would recommend to anyone in middle school.

    6. یه داستان دخترانه و ساده و معصومانه. اعتراف می کنم اگرچه موضوع جالبی داشت و تخیلات خوب ، ولی گاهی وصف ها و توضیحاتش کشدار و خسته کننده بود.

    7. This book was so good!! Definitely my favorite of the first 3 Emily Windsnap books. The storyline was great! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    8. My problem with these books is that everything happens very fast in a small amount of pages so it tends to feel rushed, there isn’t much character development, and I personally don’t get as attached to the characters as I’d like to, and Emily Windsnap and the Castle in the Mist was no exception to this. While I liked the second book in the series a lot, this one didn’t particularly stand out for me since it was so similar to the first book in how the plot unfolded (which could’ve been [...]

    9. Emily Windsnap and the Castle in the Mist by Liz Kessler is a fantasy must-read for all preteens! It starts when the main character, Emily Windsnap, finds a beautiful diamond ring buried in the sand, so she puts it on but then she can't take it off! It becomes a burden (it's cursed and magical), and King Neptune, the king of the sea, is not happy (more like infuriated) with Emily Read the book to find out why he's so angry with her. Since he is so angry, he sets a curse on her which will result [...]

    10. Emily Windsnap and the Castle in the Mist by Liz Kessler This book was very interesting. I started to read this book because it looked very fun and challenging. This book is about a semi mermaid. Her parents, a human and a mermaid, got married and then had her. When she was on land she was human. In water she was a mermaid. The king Neptune made Millie, her human babysitter, Shona her best friend and herself leave to a faraway place because she brought a memory back to him; a ring. The ring that his [...]

    11. Emily windsnap and the castle in the mist by Liz Kessler is a story about a semi-mer named Emily that goes on a class assignment and finds a diamond ring on the ocean floor. But soon she learns that it belongs to Neptune and Aurora.(I'm not going to tell you who she is.you have to find that out in the book.) When Neptune can't pull the ring off her finger he curses Emily. Now on the night of the full moon she will lose her dad and her best friend and turn human forever or she will become mermaid [...]

    12. In this book, we get more history on why Neptune is kind of a jerk and Emily is being pulled between the human world and the world in the sea. Also, the friendship between Shona and Emily is 10/10Recommended 10/11+ for some transcendentalism.

    13. Delightful story for middle grade readers. Who can't fall in love with a girl who turns into a mermaid when she gets in the water? This is the third in the series, but I have not read the first two and still enhjoyed it.

    14. The pull of the ring, was it physical or magical? Why does the ocean drag people around like that? I get a feeling like that coming from my throat sometimes. Either it's flute pieces or feathers, I can't be sure.

    15. Nicht mehr ganz so gut, wie Band 2 und 3, aber trotzdem ein mystisches Nixenabenteuer, aus dem man wortwörtlich nicht mehr "auftauchen" will

    16. I really enjoyed this one, Emily meets a new friend, and learns some great lessons! But wow Neptune is a bit of a puss. Haha

    17. I think my elder daughters enjoyed this more than I did. Perhaps a 43 year old dad isn't the target audience for a teenage mermaid book. Still entertaining, however.

    18. I'm reading this with my 9 year old niece and it was a fun little book. It seems age-appropriate and had a fun little adventure with some exciting plot twists, fun characters, and a little bit of family drama that could be relatable for a lot of kids. Entertaining and fun, looking forward to hearing my niece's perspective on it.

    19. My favorite character was Emily Windsnap, because she was determined to finish something and she never gave up. What surprised me was that in the end Neptune (the king of the sea) became nice, because before that he was really mean and not caring. I would not change the ending because Emily’s family gets to live together happily, wherever they want.

    20. Emily Windsnap is getting up for another day of school when she sees that her mom is not too happy with her dad. "What if they split up again?" she tells herself. As if anything couldn't get worse, she finds a ring that she can't get off her finger. Neptune finds out and flips out, by putting a curse on her. Suddenly she finds herself in a misty land with a random castle. And the only way to keep her parents is to find the other ring. With help from her new friends Aaron, Shona and Millie, Emily [...]
