    1. I'm between 3 and 4 stars. I sort of resisted Grisham books, because all the hype sort of backfires sometimes with me, but I gave it a try at my husbands urging. I admit I enjoyed it, and let's face it, I always love a good spy-thriller-drama!

    2. it confronts human greed. it will confront your own as you look at the faces of the characters. it's beautiful.

    3. I think the build up the court verdict was very high and after that the momentum just fell. The movie didn't leave you dazed by an unexpected verdict.

    4. I liked this book because it was fast paced and suspensful. I usually like all of John Grisham's suspense novels. He keeps it moving and they make good movies from them.

    5. This is a good read, better than some of Grisham's others, although I do like them all. This one has more courtroom shenaigans which appeals to me, as I love a good courtroom drama.

    6. Grisham has a formula and he keeps to it. I am never disappointed when I read his work, howeverI am never blown away

    7. I am a sucker for lawyer books like this. I really like John Grisham. Like all his books, this one keeps you on the edge of your seat. Not my favorite though.
